Warrior 3 (Virabhadrasana 3) strengthens and stabilizes the center of the body and requires a lot of strength of both legs, especially the supporting leg, down to the ankle and foot. In order to hold the pose, you must be present in the moment. You will feel a pulling up action from the core all along your mid-lione, as well as an extension forward and backward and over the arms and legs. Enjoy!
Jil Bianca's tip: The asana requires a lot of energy and strength. Take props to help you, especially in the beginning. This way you can calmly work on your stability without fear of losing your balance and falling.

Hatha Yoga is the body-oriented part of Yoga. Ha=Sun, Tha=Moon, Yoga=Unity/Harmony. So Hatha Yoga is the harmonization of the two basic energies in our system, the activating, warming and the building, cooling energy. Hatha Yoga says that the body is the temple of the soul and should be cared for as such, but without considering it the most important thing. Yoga therefore addresses both the physical and the energetic body.
